Hmmmph...I've been looking for someone, anyone in the Collaborators Zone of this board to rally behind my vote for the inclusion of French band Artcane into the archives...so far NOTHING.

Has anyone heard their one and only album, 'Odyssee' (1977)? Super good prog that's like a cross between King Crimson and Pulsar, but that's just for reference, they definitely had their own sound, heavy, hypnotic, dark. We need to add them. Anyone?

Artcane is one of the earliest Crimson ("Lark's Tongue" period)clones. And still, to this day one of the best -and there is PLENTY competition out there. (If only as many bands were influenced by EARLY Crimson, as are influenced by mid and later period rubbish).

Wallace has the origional lp.

aqualung28: urgh...my weakness, sorry, I don't really deal with mp3 or any other computer listening...I'm an old-school, dyed-in-the-wool hi-fi/vinyl geek (at the ripe old age of 35)...and I only have the original vinyl. This has not yet been released on CD, or I would burn it for you. Anyway, Sorry! - Signed, Behind The Times In Timbuktu.
