I own every VP album, and I think they are quite good, although some of the prog ayatollahs usually bash them. I would define them as melodic metal with prog elements rather than pure progressive, and I really feel Andy Kundz's voice is unusual and tastefu

Vanden Plas is as much Prog as say Dream Theater.

When I first came across the name Vanden Plas I thought they were from my country, so I decided to check them out.

I listened to The God Thing first and immediately heard the ressemblance to Dream Theater. Shortly after that I bought
