 Topic: Men at Work vs The Police

I've recently been listening to a lot of these two bands. Dunno why, they're not completely related but they sound sort of alike at tiems adn play off of the same styles. Which band do you think had the better output/do you prefer the most?

I like em both, but I went with Men At Work just because the name reminds me of Men Without Hats, the best band ever besides Devo

The Police are very god, rock solid band...i just like Men at Work more. Dunno why. Can't pinpoint it.

Men at Work's "Down Under" would make any of my best songs of all time lists. It still today (to me) is a phenomenal song. That said I have to say are you kidding The Police by two country miles.

no joke. i actually like men at work better and there is really no use comparing as i know the police are a much better band--but the reason i don't like them as much is because of pure overexposure. My dad wore them inot me like a rock...just got old.
As for 80s reincarnation...i hate the 80s mostly. these 2 bands being one of the few exceptions.

The Police were a better band, and since that is the question I'll have
to vote for them. However, I listen to Men at Work more. I think it
may be the overexposure factor; I have only the 1983 album by each band
and "Synchronicity II" is the only song on there I both like and don't
hear more than often enough on the radio. Neither is my favorite band from the time period (I do like a good amount of early '80s stuff).
