My avatar shows what I voted for. A band that I never got to see live and Bill really doesn't tour the states anymore. Sad for us.

I voted for Axe Victim as I felt sorry for it - it had no votes! Plus it's at least as good as the others.

I have been planning to check them out for quite a while now, but I haven't done it yet.

All I ever managed to get through (& I tried, at elast 5-6 listens) was the Air Anthology. To be blunt in the nicest terms, I could see why they were a "cult" band.
P.S. There was a track that I'd heard on CBC Radio (our version of public radio) that I really loved, but could never locate it on the anthology or by listening to samples on sites like Amazon.com. Dead

I've only got the 2 CD set Air Age Anthology as well as the live set so I can't comment on individual albums.I love the track 'Between The Worlds' which starts off like a high powered version of The Nice 'Rondo'.  Clap
Maid In Heaven is also brilliant...only 2 minutes..but brilliant all the same.

For some reason.. When I hear "Maid In Heaven" I always think of Phil Lynotts Thin Lizzy doing it.. Maybe I am just mad LOL

I absolutely adore Be Bop Deluxe, Bill Nelsons Red Noise aint that bad either!

I voted for "Modern Music" as I just love the title track

Well done Hepdate for the first BBD poll.

And you have immaculate taste, Salmacis.

I saw BBD at Hammersmith Odeon once - Bill Nelson came on in a pair of silver lurex trousers!

I have a best of but heard 'Sunburst Finish' and enjoyed that. But yes, my fave song of theirs too is 'Maid In Heaven' is on 'Futurama' so that gets my vote,

Tough one. I haven't heard all of Futurama, but it does have Maid In Heaven which is one of my all-time favourite songs. Out of the ones I've heard I'd go for Sunburst Finish, although I could have gone for Live In the Air Age which is a great live album.
Basically I can't decide.

All right, there have to be a few Nelson fans here (no, not the blonde hair brothers), Bill! One of the greatest guitarists ever, a fine songwriter and a stylish feller.

All the albums are great IMO, but which is the greatest?

And all the rest is just bullsh*t
