Jon Anderson all the way. Geddy actually has a very good rock voice, but Jon is a better vocalist. Unfortunately, I don't think Roine is much of a singer.

Jon Anderson, no question. You have, however, put together quite an interesting new prog super-group, IMO: "Anderson, Lee & Stolt." Would they be able to pull off three-part harmonies as well as innovative prog creations? (Hmm...)

Very, very difficult one this. It includes two of my favourite musicians, full stop,
Stolt & Lee.
I did a similar poll at the end of last year, between Lee and Anderson.
Anderson won, but not by a big margin.
For me, Anderson easily comes third here.
As for the winner, well...
Lee's voice has got better over the years, to my ears.
He has a pleasant, quite musical voice I think.
Stolt likewise has a voice that is pleasant, and suits his music well.
Very hard to choose, they are like chalk and cheese.
But, in the end, with Stolt coming third, I vote for him.

I agree. I don't like Roine, but I love Jon, but I like 70's Geddy more than 70's Jon. If I judged by how they sing today, Jon would be miles ahead

Jon Anderson no doubt. Yes is rarely Yes without his voice.
Geddy's is very unique.
Roine.......................

Roine Stolt! His voice has so much character. I just love the way he pronounces certain words because of his Swedish accent. The perfect prog voice. His best vocal performance for me would be on Transatlantic's "Suite Charlotte Pike".
Anderson and Lee are obviously great as well, but my choice was Roine Stolt within a split-second

OK, Anderson would've won hands down in his prime, now I'm not so sure. I think he still edges out Geddy, but maybe not.

I saw Anderson live just before Christmas and his voice hasn't really changed that much since his "prime". Compared to some of his contemporaries he can still hit the high notes pretty well.

Jon. I'm listening to Olias right now and I'm amazed by the extend to which he developed all his artistic talents. Great voice, also.

I saw Jon Anderson at the 35th Anniversary show at Madison Square Garden...he was absolutely flawless. Probably the only rock singer whose voice never degraded in quality at all. He's nearly 60 years old, and there has never been another singer like him.
Roine is not as much of a singer as he is a guitarist. Wonderful, unique voice, but no range or technique, really. Geddy is unique, but has definitely lost range and melodic sense over the years. Still amazing, though!
But all three are master craftsmen. As a vocalist, Jon wins, but Geddy is among the best bass players of all time, and Roine Stolte is a pretty amazing composer and guitarist. Comparing Roine to Jon is like comparing Eddie Van Halen to Rick Wakeman as a keyboard player....he's a master, but not of that specific craft...

Has to be Geddy Lee. Not to mention that he'll be busy playing some amazing bass or keyboard parts while he's singing too.
