A new studio album with new compositions performed by JEAN LUC PONTY & HIS GROUP entitled THE ACATAMA EXPERIENCE will be released later this year. The official release date will be announced in March, with more details about its content. Guests guitarists Allan Holdsworth and Philip Catherine appear on a few tracks.

Allan work on previous JLP albums is fabulous. I hope this one lives up to those standards.

Definitely will be picking this up.
One likes to believe
In the freedom of music
But glittering prizes
And endless Compromises
Shatter the illusion
Of integrity

It's not like Holdsworth hasn't recorded with Ponty before. In fact, his best album in my opinion, Enigmatic Ocean, had Holdsworth on it (and Daryl Steurmer as well). Maybe this one will be up to that quality. All I can do is hope.Wink
