I was thinking... do u see the similarities between both bands?
*Both of them have a werid singer (the guy from boredoms / Mike Patton)
*Both have a werid ambient album (Absinthe / Delirium Cordia)
*Both have a "so weird it works album" (Heretic: Jeux des Dames Cruelles / Suspended Animation
*Both have a weirdo as a lead member (John Zorn / Mike Patton)
* Both are antigirfriend musicBig%20smile ( i wonder why i am alone)
By the way i like both bands but i lke naked city a little bit more (cause they have a sax and they have Fred Firth Wink)

And of course, Mike Patton has collaborated with John Zorn.
 
Tough call, but I think I'd have to choose Naked City if you put a gun against my head.

The only Naked City album I have is the self-titled... and I like it more than any Fantomas album exceot perhaps Delirium Cordia. Both are amazing.

I find Naked City to a lot better. Fantomas are good and all but I find that Naked City's music works better on me.

Naked City (the album) is a masterpiece and one of my favorite avant-garde albums so far. Im a huge Fantômas fan as well and their debut and Suspended Animation are both brilliant, though Naked City has an edge on both.

Both bands are so solid. All albums by both bands are great.

 

But Naked City's self titled is just mind blowing.

I prefere Naked City's self titled,because i'm a big fan of John Zorn and his label(the home  of Kayo Dot :-)) but also Fantomas are great.Smile

I'm going with fantomas, I saw them live and it was the tightest thing ever probably the best live show I've ever seen, it was god damn brilliant.
