Do you consider yourself to be Prog? This Forum is for the promotion of progressive acts.

OK, now we know you come from Canada. Could you tell us the more suitable prog sub-genre where NO LOGIC may fit? Also, other demo tracks should be appreciated for better evaluation.

Micky and I have just finished listening to the samples on the band's Myspace page, but we have found very little if any trace of prog in them. However, perhaps the opinion of some other genre team could be useful.

Nice one, Raf & Micky... Thumbs%20Up Your opinions are as always greatly considered. I had also invited other people to hear them and post their opinions.

However, to be fair with NO LOGIC, I ask again for new demo tracks. If NO LOGIC are not able to provide them right now, just warn us and we'll put this thread on hold until news be received.

Well, I'm not a member of any genre teams but I decided to take a look,  and just by judging from these two songs I can hear some traces of what we have set as a "prog standard", but not enough to be added under a specific sub-genre. If any addition was possible in the future, this band would probably file under prog-related as it sounds almost like a clone to the prog-related band "The Fire Theft". Also, three of their listed influences include Queen, The Beatles, and Pink Floyd which are all in the archives, but only Floyd being in a subgenre.

I hope this helps you out Ian and Guigo, I have more opinions if you need them.

Oh and nice music Mike, I rather enjoyed itSmile

Thanks Zappa88 all opinions are very welcome. However, I feel that by saying that one is influenced by a Prog Band, does not make one automatically Prog.

Thats was the point I was making actually. To clarify, what I meant was their influences listed some bands already in the archives, but as far as they get is prog-related. Sound better?Embarrassed
