More news about the so awaited Paradise Lost!

Taken from the official page (www.symphonyx.com):

STUDIO UPDATE FROM MJR
MJR spent a while on the phone today teasing me mercilessly with descriptions of the songs on Paradise Lost..man, I can't wait for this cd!

That said, on with the info: mixing is being finished up this week, & MJR is very pleased with the work that Jens Bogren has done with the mix. Next up comes mastering which should happen within the next week or two; at this point, the anticipated release date is in late June.

The next cd report, likely in 2-3 weeks, will include the tracklist, so keep an eye out for that.

That's all for now..
Jax, SymX Staff

Big%20smile Also, take a look on the web page, they've announced some North American dates and one in Puerto Rico.

BTW, they're coming to Argentina the 13th June!!

Clap

I'll say this much: As long as there is a delay of several months between mastering the album and making it available to the fans there will always be leaks and illegal downloads of the album spreading like wildfire.

Why can't they speed up that process ... it can't be that difficult to design the cover and booklet in advance or at least in parallel to the mixing/mastering and to release the album one month after it's been mastered.

another delay on any reason and they can eat those albums rather than sell them...

can't wait though, hope that this album would be worth the waiting

I'll see them play at Gods of Metal festival in Itally.  Can't wait, after 'The Odyessey' I'm  confident this one will be great too.  Is it a concept album?

For tracklisting, artwork, samples, and even 1 full track from the highly anticipated album "Paradise Lost" by Symphony X, check out:

http://www.symphonyx.com

My first impression of the track is that it's quite heavy, but in a good way. I enjoyed this one waaay more than DT's Constant Motion. MJR's guitar sound is very nice, and as always his style is distinctive as can be. As for the artwork, I find it breathtaking! Much better than The Odyssey, or any of their previous albums, really.

Can't wait to see them live this september!
