Well, he produced one of my youthful favorites, the first Michael Schenker Group record (the best of the MSG LPs, with 'Into the Arena' and other hot prog numbers).. that's about it from me, I don't know his solo stuff, sorry mick.

Wow, David, I used to love MSG back in the early Eighties... That first album sure was great, though I never was a fan of Gary Barden's vocals.

As to "The Butterfly Ball", I think it has quite a few prog elements, including the presence of an orchestra and of Eddie Jobson, and the fact of being a concept. Some of the songs are a bit cheesy, but the good ones are outstanding. It could be added either under Roger Glover's name, or as "Various Artists".

yeah, I could've done without Barden. But then Graham Bonnet came on in '82 and he wasn't much better.. ah well.

Yeah, MSG weren't exactly graced with great vocalists- competent at best, imho. Graham Bonnet's overblown style I'm no fan of either- all bluster, no restraint.
 
I vaguely remember Roger Glover's 'Elements' being fairly proggy, a la Rick Wakeman's albums like 'Journey/Return To The Centre Of The Earth' and 'King Arthur'. I never heard Butterfly Ball but I should do as it has some of my very fave vocalists.
