on the heels of the suggestion from Bob (easy livin)

Jon Lord, after his symphonic rock dreams were quashed by Blackmore and group made several solo albums which I have to admit I haven't heard.

have a text on Prog here and here is what it says...

'his solo work was an extension of what he felt unable to do within the band context' (see concerto for group and orchestra) 'His work with orchestra and rock created some very enjoyable prog rock'

gemini suite 1971
windows 1974
sarabande 1976
before I forget 1982

thoughts from the peanut gallery...
