Knight Area released their new album Under A New Sign.

I've bought it at their concert in Ittervoort, Netherlands.
IMO it's a very good album, maybe even better than their debut The Sun Also Rises which was very good tooClap

What do you think of their new album??

I'm going to have to check with Greg Walker on this. I like the debut very much and would like to have this one. Not high on my priority list, though.

This is just one of a LOAD of stuff that's being released this month that I'm going to have to splash some cash for (Genesis remasters/ Porcupine Tree/ Alan Parsons Project remasters/ Knight Area.....). Fortunately, I've been setting aside a few bucks recently with this in mind.

I love "The Sun Also Rises". For me, it's one of those albums that ticks all my "personal listening pleasure" boxes. Symphonic, great melodies, big well-produced sound.

I'm going to order the new album today, and if it's anywhere near as good as "Sun", then I'll be happy!

If you like great melodies and symphonic sounds, you really like this album too. It's turning round and round in my cd-player. It has just like "The Sun Also Rises" a Knight Area characterising sound.

Great album, but the stolen Arena riff at the beginning of track 2 is puzzling to say the least.

I got an e-mail from the band about their new CD, I hope to review it very soon Wink
In the past I was a huge fan of Cliffhanger so I know Rinie and Gijs very well, they deserve the success with Knight Area, they are so enthousiastic!

The debut was hailed as 'prog metal' here in Holland.. so I was a bit underwelmed when I heard it... being pure soft neo prog.. hope this one's really a bit more varied and heavier (as the band said so themselves)

Under A New Sign just made it; so, I'm heading off to lunch and popping this in the car's player.

Really short disc!!! I just about made it through the whole thing on my lunch hour. I hear a TON of IQ in there, though.

I do like it better than the debut.
