Vote & Leave a Comment-

I've complied the ultimate list of Progressive Rock musicians (& others), so please vote for the best in your opinion and explain why.

I'll refrain from voting because every single one floors me with their musical talent

You get the idea.
When the world is sick
Can't no one be well
But I dreamt we were all
beautiful and strong

My goodness, what a great poll. I voted Mike Giles because he is my favorite drummer and I don't think he gets enough love around here.

Shostakovich was tempting though.

I like Giles' drumming, but it's hard really appriciate how good he is because the drum sound on the debut is SH*TTY.

Nothing is perfect. Just roll with it.
I for one think it's nice not to see the same old names again.

Vander is so dedicated to making great music that I have to pick him, which can't be said for some of the others on that list.

I know only some of this musicians, but i really cannot think of anyone better (at the time) than John Mclaughlin, what a god-dammit virtuoso this man is, and playing with Miles Davis isn´t for everyone!

John McLaughlin’s musical legacy far surpasses any one on the list.  A far superior musician.

Lemmy.

Because of his contributions to Hawkwind and founding Motörhead.

And last but not least: He is an intelligent and witty debater with original opinions.

I shall until,
one day I hope that I'll arrive
