HI EVERYONE, THIS IS CÉSAR INCA.
From Argentina comes a very interesting post-rock prog band called DEFORMICA. After a debut EP, they released an album last year called 'H', which has already been positively reviewed at Progressor. The band's site is located at http://www.deformica.com.ar/home.htm; at the Temas section you'll listen to some of the 'H' album's tracks.
Highly recommended for the Archives, indeed!
Kind regards.

These guys also have their Myspace blog: http://www.myspace.com/deformica
A bunch of tracks and a Youtube video are included here - they will really honor the Post-Rock section of PA.
Kind regards.

No news yet? I really think that these guys should be included in the Archives, either by the Art Rock team or the Experimental team (preferentiallym the latter).
Here are sone Defórmica videos to spice things up regarding this proposed entry.-

Hi Cesar Inca, I must have missed this thread back in April. Sorry about that.... I'll listen to the samples tonight!
From now on, if you have a suggestion for Experimental/Post-rock, it would best to PM one of us - me, Chamberry or GoldenSpiral, and we'll look into it. |

I've followed your suggestion concerning other bands that I have suggested recently as likely PA items. Thank you for tha tsuggestion and also for paying attention to this exciting band!
Any other PA member non-specialist has some opinion about DEFÓRMICA's music? I think it's just great, one of the most amazing bands to come from Argentina in the last 2 years.
Kind regards.
