I was thinking of creating a poll about the best band producing a single (official!) album in its whole story, but I'd surely miss many, many names.
I would include Alphataurus, Museo Rosenbach, Morte Macabre...

So, let's make it like this: you put the name, than I'll collect them and submit a poll Confused

Maxophone would almost count -- the band has two studio album releases, the first being the Italian language Maxophone - Maxophone and the second (same year of release) their "international" release of the same album only with English lyrics.

I tend to disregard such English language releases when looking at a discography -- the results of these alterations have invariably been poor to my ears in comparison.

Apoteosi's eponymous album.

There are probably enough Italian bands like this to fill an entire poll.

My avatar, Yndi Halda.

They've only released one EP, but it is just heavenly.

Apoteosi is fantastic!

Here's another one one from me from France - Archaia

Been wanting to do a French one shot bands vs. Italian ones for some time since both countries have some great ones.. as do other countries.

Gotta disagree there.  P1's entire live career has been released through DGMLive, King Crimson's new website.  P3 and P4 have both seen DGMLive releases and KCCC releases, so none really counts as a one-album band.

I haven't heard the album, but I believe that the United States of America was only assembled for one album (a self-titled debut, no less).
