Hi,
Announcing a mini tour of the south coast by my band BrainSalad.

We are performing at the Gander in Bournemouth on 28th May as part of a classic albums festival this venue is hosting, and then the following night at the Portland Rock Bar in Hove on the 29th May.

We will be playing full length versions of Tarkus, Pictures at an Exhibition and Karn Evil 9 , to name a few.

Anyone into ELP or Prog Rock from the golden 70’s era will have a great evening.

Be sure to let us know if you play in Cardiff.

You have posted here about some gigs before, didn't you?

Hi,

Yes, back in January we played at the Diamond in Sutton-in-Ashfield, and had a great gig. Not a lot of folk attended, but it was snowing a couple of hours before we went on!
There is  review from someone who attended that gig on our website, www.elptribute.co.uk. We are back at the Diamond in June.

Regards,
Graham

A bit far for me I'm afraid. Venture into London (or indeed Swindon) and I'm sure a few more PA members would be there.
Good luck with the gigs anyway.

Is that a Korg BX3 disguised as a Hammond...?

For shame, sir!

Hi Jim,

Sure its a BX3, but no disguise involved !

My old back gave way lugging a 'real' Hammond and its attendant tackle around many moons ago. I put the BX3 through a Motion Sound amp ( read modern leslie with built in valve amp and mics ) and challenge anyone to tell the difference.

If Emo can tour with a BX3 ( tour with The Nice a couple of years ago ) , its good enough for me !  ( OK - he did have a C3 as well )

Regards
Graham
