I love Al Dimeola! He's an incredible guitarist who forged an interesting spanish-fusion sound in the mid-70s. My favorite DiMeola records are Land of the Midnight Sun and the fabulous Elegant Gypsy. Incredible stuff!

Als a great guitarist, I used to have World Sinfonia
but cant quite remember it seems I liked it overall. I
do remember Elegant Gypsy from earlier in his
career and if you like him you may want to try that
album also.

Okay, I'm not sure if this accounts to be in the progressive rock forums; nonetheless, Al Di Meola has been apart of the progressive scene. I think you should know him best as the young talent to join Chick Corea's jazz fusion band: Return to Forever.&n
