Well, I admit I downloaded this album, the first Frameshift album that features James LaBrie on vocals. I enjoyed his vocals, i thought he provided a really good vocal performance here; I've got nothing to reproach to the music either.

So what do you think of this project? Please "bring" an argument to sustain your opinion.

Love this album.  Henning Pauly is the man.  This is heavy, but not overly so, which is the type of metal I like if it has good hooks and clean vocals.  The keyboards work well within the whole and Labrie puts in a great performance.  If you like it, get Chain.exe, which is even better, IMHO.

Yea first album with Labrie is great but I prefer the second one with Sebastian Bach... Henning Pauly is very talented composer and the second album proves his geniality !

Prefer UTR to the second album which is more metal and less proggy.

There was only one dead guy on the Rainbow Warrior ... which is already one too many, of course.

Don't know the Frameshift album but I have unfortunately bought and given a few spins to Elements of Persuasion and I find much more dangerous to listen to that Censored than to stand on the Rainbow Warrior. And that is a remark coming from a huge DT fan ...

Now what the hell is going on here!??AngryAngryAngry

Ok, a few clarifications: one, the first frameshift album is great and doesn't deal with mass killings or murder or anything, is much more experimental and better... LaBrie has quite more respect for... anything, than that sorry excuse for a shrieker who dares to have the same name as THE MAster of all time, Sebastian Bach. There's 0 comparison, 0.

About the Elements of Persuasion album, is not brilliant, a 3 star effort at most, but it has a couple good songs, and LaBrie's singing as always is on target. The music, like in Mullmuzzler, is mostly done in collaboration with Matt Guillory, of Dali's Dilemma and Leonardo, The Absolute Man fame.  The lyrics don't have anything to do with aberrations.... Please, don't confuse Labrie, even if you hate his voice, with a third-rate womanizer like S.B. (I'll never write his name again as it's the ultimate injustice: sh*t named after a product of Heaven's might...)

He, he, I would have bet you would show up ...  LOL

Elements of Persuasion is the only solo work from LaBrie that I know. Before listening to it, I had always wondered why MP and JP didn't let more space to LaBrie to cooperate in DT's music and lyrics since I found his few lyrics rather inspired (he wrote those from Blind Faith, right ?) but now I have a beginning of an answer ...

Ok, I listened to the whole album only two times, but frankly I found the music terrible, really ... I will try again, though.
