Hi,

BE GLAD FOR THE SONG HAS NO ENDING by the Incredible String Band.

And what a treat it was, although I am not sure that many people today would like to see what appears to be some kind of hippie/commune adoration, however, in this case, and in this band, I do not think it was just that, and the girls did play some/many instruments.

Not quite progressive as in the descriptions here (album is 1971) - film a bit later), but listening to those lyrics ... they are really good, and well done. It's kinda weird that we do not notice that, and realize how much of an effect it might have had, on the rise of poetry in progressive music, from bands like King Crimson to Renaissance and others. I would suggest that the whole thing was also quite influenced by the English Theater at the time and its many exploratory performances.

BTW, we don't call it poetry anymore. We call it all "lyrics", now!

Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

I knew you would've grabbed this one instantly, Steve!
I love the performance of "Until The End." I just about fell off my sofa.
I think we are spoiled early in 2017. This will be a tough one to overtake.
