Hey Joren, did you buy the new remastered version?  There was originally an intro (a few minutes long) to the first track, which was cut out of earlier CD releases... (why??) it's back on the new remastered release, so I would highly

Funnily enough. I got into TFTO quite easily though I think The Revealing Science of God is the best track of the four. Relayer on the other hand...well, I still cannot get to like it. Even 'Gates' doesn,t hit the spot.

Mmmm... I still think this is not a very tight record. Too few themes for its lenght may be the explanation. I enjoy 'Relayer' most, although I can't take 'Sound Chaser'

When I was first getting acquainted with the album, I actually shared your opinion precisely.  Now, though, I will say that anyone heading into Tales looking for "a tight album" is bound to be disappointed!  Bruford

I have yet to find a copy of the album, but have heard many things about it. Apparently it showcases some of the band's more interesting work, but the theological content of the lyrics have influenced me to turn to other albums such as The Y
