That would be outstanding.  We can dream, right?

I had to ask Arjen that question via email.

And his response was:

"Yeah, I Know him, incredible singer indeed!  So who Knows? ;)"

We can hope. I'm sure someday we will get a Gildenlow performance on Ayreon. Big%20smile

I wonder if these guys know how much good publicity these types of things are.

I was turned onto Gildenlow through his involvement with Transatlantic on the Live in Europe DVD and then fell in love with Pain of Salvation.

I knew nothing about Opeth until Akerfeldt blew me away in the Human Equation.  And just in the last month, I have purchased four Opeth CDs.

Now that I've fallen for Lucassen's work, I just purchased In the Electric Castle and am intrigued by Fish's vocals on that album and wonder if I should delve into the early Marillion stuff.

I'm sure these guys realize that they have a lot to gain from this type of collaboration and I love the fact that Lucassen makes it happen on every single Ayreon album.  He's got a pretty neat thing going which is unique in the music industry.

I'm hoping for Russel Allen and Mikael Åkerfeldt!

also, I wouldn't mind two of my favorite singers and countrymen, Roy Khan and Jørn Lande, appearing on the album Evil%20Smile

Personally I'm hoping for Maynard James Keenan, but speaking of wishful thinking ... I know it's never gonna happen.

Not only was this some of the best news ever about Ayreon 7 but - now I desperately want these guys on it. Even though JMK would never do it. (although it would be cool.) BUT I can see SW and DG singing main "lines"...  Now that really would make an Ayreon album. Big%20smile
My entertainment dollar is burning in my pocket!
