I like Mister Green just as much as Skymind, perhaps even more.  We all need their two albums re-released, I cannot find a copy of Mister Green anywhere!  This is especially true if indeed they have a new album out this year.

I cannot wait!

Hmm... Taal as avant-prog?  I personally think they'd fit there, I need to ask the team.

Taal have a new album did you say? Shocked
They were originally in avant, but a while ago somebody moved them to Art Rock for some reason. Someone even made a poll about it, and the majority of people voted that they should be in Art Rock. Crazy world we live in.

I think I saw they were working on a new album (their website is in French and is very poorly designed), but they lost a lot of the bandmembers from Skymind (no more strings :O).

Yep, they were in avant-prog and they did indeed get moved, but now  think about it, I think they are more avant-prog than art rock.

I think Rico is happy for me to have them back, but I need to consult more people first.

Well, My vote was Taal.

Taal should be Avant Prog if you ask me... Good idea!

I don't agree though that it is an awful comparsion... comparsion is an awful thing in general... I just made this poll to know what people think... I do see these bands as similar in many ways besides musical direction....

And to Phileas (I think it was...) who said something like "Even if they are not very progressive"... I see Taal as one of the most progressive bands in modern day... Anglagard aren't progressive in the same sense, but they sound extremely similar to the old progressive bands, and I think they take it even one step forwards because they are influenced not only by one band, but by a very large amount of bands from the symphonic prog scene of the 70s... and, no matter what people say, they do have their own personal style...

both are great but taal are just more relevant.... so thats why I voted for them
