Well, I was visiting my brother who studies in Kraków and one time on a wall I saw a poster of The Festval of Macedonian Culture with information about Vlatko Stefanovski Trio's gig. I had no idea who the hell he was. I also saw an article about this event in a newspaper. Later my brother's friend checked on the net that he was a great jazz musician and I thought it could be interesting. So I went there (alone). They played in a small club. Tickets turned out to be rather cheap (25 PLN = 8,70 USD). And the gig was really awesome! The band consisted of a guitarist (Vlatko), a bassist and a drummer. They played very energetic, mostly instrumental music loaded with Balkan (Macedonian) rhythms. Vlatko's technique was really impressive! They encored twice. After the gig there were some CDs available to buy - three different albums:

I bought the middle one. I thought that he might have been in the archives. I checked today and indeed he is here: http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=2519

You're telling the truth. I wish I'd bought more of his albums...
BTW, do you know where I can get LEB I SOL albums? Confused

Vinyl or CD? For LP records try searching e-bay. For CDs, hm, check the Polish label Widawnictwo 21 or something, they have nice CD re-issues catalogue of Yugoslav stuff. Also check Leb i sol page here at PA, maybe I gave some hints in my reviews... Wink

Rarely, unfortunately this type of music is extremely hard to find in original CD format (except illegal burned copies or mp3s), at least in my town Sarajevo. Occassionally something appears but it is not regularly distributed. I would advise you to search for their Belgrade publisher PGP RTB which released their first and best 4-5 albums.
Here I found some quick google links:

Here you can pre-listen "Rucni rad":

Hope you'll find something!
