Dear friends-
We've just got a quick note for you on the The Red Masque. We've finally completed all recordings and Vonorn and the band are working on final mixes for the new album, Fossil Eyes. We hope to have an announcement in the near future with the good news about the album's completion and a release date. Thank you for everone's patience and support during an extremely trying year.

We would also like to thank Red Masque fan David Pym, who published a Wilkipedia article on the band recently. You can read it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_red_masque

David is also a talented filmmaker and has plans in the works for creating a video for the band. We'll let you know more about that as we have more information to tell. Tentatively, though, it looks David will be making a video for "The Spider Is The Web", from "Fossil Eyes". He's shown us some cool animations he made utilizing artwork by Lynnette Shelley, and an octopus corpse(!), among other ideas. We also plan on putting up some more YouTube footage shortly.

This month also saw the debut of an improv side project Electric Golem, who performed at Temple Eris in West Philadelphia. Brandon, Lynnette, and Andy blistered in the fierce and muggy Temple basement, along with many other fun improv acts. Thanks to Lora Bloom and Radio Eris for setting up the show.

For those of you going to the North East Art Rock Festival (www.nearfest.com) this month, stop by and say hi to the band, as we'll all be attending as well. Also keep your eyes/ears peeled for a very special surprise at the concert.

In addition, the space rock album by Ethereal (aka Richard Orldando of Alien Planetscapes fame) that features guest vocals by Lynnette is now available through Aural Innovations' mail order store for $7 at http://www.aural-innovations.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=451&osCsid=901108e7fe70991efb475bdcb7232765
Lynnette sings on the track "Mother Earth". Other guest bands include members of Scattered Planets, Quarkspace, Radio Eris and more.

See you soon!
Brandon, Lynnette, Vonorn, Andy
