Which songs preferred of this album:

Banco del Mutuo Soccorso (original issue) - front cover

extractable tab detail

Banco del Mutuo Soccorso - inner gatefold

Banco del Mutuo Soccorso - later issue front cover

and why?

I prefer the epic flavour of "R.I.P. (Requiscant In Pace)"

Voted for RIP, but Metamorfosi and Il Giardino del Mago are also among the greatest prog pieces of all time.
Who are you and who am I to say we know the reason why... (D. Gilmour)

Loads of splendid musicianship, shifting moods, great guitar, organ solo's and beautiful vocals on this album. But because of the wonderful first part and from 3.40 min.a magical piano piece with an astounding voice: R.I.P!!!!

The middle section of R.I.P. features a heavy goose bump moment when Francesco Di Giacomi starts so sing in a quite dramatic way, supported by beautiful, very sensitive Grand piano play, culminating in a very compelling atmosphere, to me this sounds as one of the highlights of the Seventies Italian prog Approve
