This Welsh folk/prog group, whose name means "Pilgrim"  recorded three albums at the end of the 70s/early 80s.  They are distinctly folk flavoured but  feature more complex and contemporary arrangements, lots of flutes, and even mellotron in some tracks, and fuzzy and/or searing psychedelic guitars .  The effect is haunting, and the male and female vocals, all in Welsh, are very strong.  I have only heard the first 2, and they are equally great - "Haul ar Y Eira" and "Teithgan".  Both are readily available on CD now, the third not yet.  They do not seem to have a web page.  Here is a good page that describes their albums:

Apparently there was a pre-Pererin group called BRAN that sounds really good.

The song "Pary's Mountain" from their second album "Teithgan" is one of the best album closers I have heard.  It reminds me of what the Byrds might have done if they had survived another decade...and were Welsh.

I've been looking in the matter in the last month or so!Wink
let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword
