Hi all. It is my first post here, so I should beforehand excuse me - my english is something terrible.
Well... Am I wrong or there is no mentions of Moravian (a part of ex-Czechoslovakia) group "Synkopy" on this site? As I know, these gyes have at least one English lyric's album with prog sound and I think it is good enough for addition (and simply for listen to by everybody) of it to the archive. Here is a short review of this band by Progressor's site - *h*t*t*p*://progressor.net/review/s.html#synkopy_1985 You can listen samples of it (actually - 90% of length) here - *h*t*t*p*://www.russiandvd.com/store/product.asp?sku=33225&genreid= English version is started at track 15. |

I have one of their albums called "Slunecni Hodiny" from 1981. It has a classic prog sound so I don't see why they should be excluded. Has someone heard their other material?

He he, I have it too :) And also "Zrcadla" (1986). But haven't yet heard it both.
Hello, Salviaal! Have you heard FT? |

Hey, a person from Slovakia told me that this band was playing singles rock during the 70s and then changed the style to prog rock. I have also found their full discography (they were called Synkopy 61 until the 80s). I can write up a bio so it's in the PA format and you can send me mp3s in original form, raleks and I can covert them to 128 kbps (unless you want to do that). I'll put together an e-mail with bio, albums and mp3s.

I think it is better that I will send tracks direct to gmail, and you also send the bio. If you want I can send you original tracks separately ;-) |
