Great news; GURU GURU  a great band that has always nicely grown up from acid psychedelic jams to jazz/rock to ''world'' fusion without losing a sense of humor typical to german bands from This time .

I own 8/9 albums from them from HINTEN to 2000 GURUS and the 3 CD set -30 years- just great, and Axl was a unique guitarist. Mani is great too on percussions.

Should be a GURU GURU fan central here on PA but who will be participating anyway; sadly not too many peopleCry

GURU GURU one of the best kept secret treasure of progThumbs%20Up

I'm not a big fan of Guru Guru after Trempte left.  He was so awesome!  I miss you, Uli!

They had other excellent bass players too, like Helmut Hattler, Gerald Luciano Hartwig or Peter Kühmstedt. That's about top of the crop when it comes to bass players in Germany.

Yes, I checked the GURU GURU website; this is not a new GURU GURU album,  more of a collaboration between NEUMEIR and these 2 japanese musicians; ...
.......no idea what to expect!!!!!
