Wow, I just picked up the New Trolls album and I'm so impressed!! I don't know much about Italian Symphonic Prog but what groups/albums should I look into this genre? Wow, I love it!!!!!

My biggest Italian favourite is PFM, especially Storia di un Minuto and Stati di Immaginazione are fantastic. I'm finally starting to get into Per Un Amico, so I can recommend that too.

If you like classical arrangements try Osanna (Preludio, tema, variazioni, canzona) and Rovescio della medaglia, their last album Contaminazione is said to be very good (unfortunately I haven't heard it yet).
