We've got a few things to announce at once with this. I just got the master in yesterday to part two of the Project Creation story "Dawn on Pyther" and Joel will be debuting it on his show tonight "Interstellar Overdrive" at www.progrock.com starting at 6pm Eastern. In addition, here is the press release about the new album. Hope to see you in chat and hope you can tune in. Oh, and the absolute highlights of the near 80 minute disc is my 2 keyboard solos :)

------

Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 5 September 2007 – After the acclaimed release of 'Floating World', it's time for the follow up 'Dawn On Pyther', that continues the story of the first album. 'Dawn on Pyther' is a powerful album, blending intense rock and metal with ambient landscapes, culminating in a progressive and symphonic sound, fronted by strong female and male vocalists. The artwork is very detailed, and describes every song of this album, which creates a powerful combination of music and art.

The story for the second album by Project Creation is the following: The new planet named Pyther is now growing. The new beings and the civilization of the Floating World, that created them and colonized the new planet, are now living together: humans, meka dragonflies, new born and a new breed of Flying Thoughts that appear to have been created by a somehow living Cheops pyramid. The Dragonflies now have finally a garden of their own, a real garden like they were hoping to see someday, since these small entities were developed during the long trip (1st album). But there is one Mechanical Dragonfly that wishes to see more, insatiable. Her thoughts are out there.

Cheops is standing, looking at the Universe. Pyther, with the 3 species living together, is a symbol of respect. The symbol is awake and well. The Floating World arrived with the rest of the people and is now steady, using a few resources to help stabilize the new homeland, thus stopping for a while its endless voyage.

The Dragonfly decides to leave to explore the far corners of the Universe, but maintains the connection with Cheops, which in turn is becoming alive and intelligent. Cheops is sending a message to the Dragonfly, and thus, she dreams of a blue planet everyday. A planet with an incredible Ocean…

As you can see, “Dawn on Pyther” is an ambitious work and one that is sure to captivate you. You can hear audio samples and order at http://www.progrockrecords.com/shop/view.php?id=144 the album is discounted $2 during the pre-sale period and will begin shipping in mid-september.

Awesome news Shawn!!!!!!

Clap

I love Project Creation's "Floating World" album and was wondering when/if they would ever get around to making another album.

Thanks for the heads-up.
