Oh. Holy sh*t. They cover the Tull, the Who AND the Zep? If they also do "Weaver's Answer" and "Whiter Shade of Pale," I'll play the trouser flute to the Eddie's beautiful face.
(Once again, not me, it's the Tull. And their evil. Want another picture?)

And btw, Whistler, what's so satanic about Jesus wearing combat boots?

<FONT face="Times New Roman, Times, serif" color=#330099 size=4>Jethro Tull is not blasphemous. They are in fact pro-God and pro-Christian, but there is an obvious irreverence in their lyrics that is aimed at hypocritical Bible thumpers and false prophets.
One example is "Hymn 43", which is about salvation from hypocrites, "gory glory seekers who use His name in death".
Another example is Christmas Song, which is about the hypocrites who lose the true meaning of Christmas while being gluttonous and stingy.
The final and most obvious example is of course "My God", which is about what the false prophets and Bible thumpers have done to God and Jesus in the name of organized religion. Remember that Christianity is about salvation, not religion.
| I agree completely! Besides, one has to beware: there is a deep chasm between "religion" and "church"!!! The clergymen (especially the highest ranking ones) often behave in ways that have little or nothing to share with Jesus' teachings!

They're only blasphemers if you're religious.

Not true. You may be offended if you're religious, but what they are doesn't change depending on what the listener is. Choose your words more carefully.

Obviously, it depends on what the listener is. It's all subjective. If I don't consider them blasphemers, then they're not blasphemers to me no matter what you or anybody else says. And don't tell me how to choose my diction.
