i think that Roger Hodgsons first release under the name Argosy should be added to his bio/discography as singles even though the are very early in his carear. the single have only two songs so it will not take much space or it is early enough to be called proto prog (69)

Elton John is behind the piano and mellron makes it the only supertramp related musik featuring mellotron

well it was his first recordings with Reg Dwight (Elton John), Niegel Olsson (Eltons drummer) and Caleb Quaye, before both Eltons solo carear and Rogers Supertramp carear, it was recorded in 68-69

Let's look at the chronology:

1969 - "After People Like Us disbanded, Hodgson became vocalist for the "flower power" pop band Argosy, which also included Reginald Dwight (later known as Elton John), Caleb Quaye, and Nigel Olsson.[7] Their sole single, "Mr. Boyd" b/w "Imagine", consisted of two pieces of orchestrated pop and was issued on the DJM (U.K.) and Congress (U.S.) record labels." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roger_Hodgson, I guess in this case we can trust Wikipedia).

1970 - 1983 - Supertramp.
1984 - present - solo career.

Thus ARGOSY was a band, not his solo project, and it was long before his solo career. I don't see reasons to add ARGOSY single to Roger Hodgson discography.

About the bio, it's very short on PA: http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=780. Everybody who would like to write a better and more detailed one is welcome. In this case Argosy could be mentioned as one of Roger's first bands.

I just added the "This Town Needs Guns" EP to their artist page, but for some reason it was added twice - and one with a picture error.

Can an admin delete the second submission?

Just added Dec Burke's new one, 'Paradigms & Storylines' http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=35637, but the top part of the album cover is missing from the image (there should be a crow visible perched on top of the pink triangle)...Sorry! - I tried to go back and correct it, but the site won't let me do it.

Only collabs/PRs can edit album info and only SCs can update album art... post the intended album art in this thread: http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=36282
