Hello, I've recently finished recording with my band at a university recording studio.  I'd love some feedback from people who will hopefully appreciate it.  we're all big 70s prog and fusion fans.  i.e. genesis, mahavishnu orchestra, return to forever, king crimson, yes, weather report, etc.  Have a listen.  www.myspace.com/yetiguru  if you like it feel free to add us as friends and help the scene.  Enjoy!

Edit: sorry I didn't read all the information for what the post must include.  Nationality: American.  We are all students at Indiana University.  We are all approximately 21 years old.

You guys remind me of Argentina's La Máquina de Hacer Pájaros, and they in turn remind me of Return to Forever and Yes Smile

3 Seconds To Blastoff was the only one I had time to listen to, and I loved it. The first guitar solo is really lovely! Great tone and wonderful drumming.

Nice amalgam of prog influences I'm hearing.  OK, didn't see this but curious, how old are you guys?  I'm guessing a bit younger than me, I'm getting older than dirt.  Pinch

it's funny, prog people like 3 seconds to blastoff and the big city after dark, and then jazz people like damn dog and the neon slums.  by the way, if you listen to the neon slums, give it time, the bossa nova is just a mood setting intro

No problem with the bossa nova mood... I hear it since I was a little kid. Wink

well I'm very glad.  When I saw this post I noticed you were from Brazil and immediately thought "oh god, I hope we didn't butcher the bossa"!
