Not really a poll, just a way to get to talk about these two related bands/projects and those two wonderful albums.
Do you prefer one approach to the other? SYRINX being mainly instrumental and acoustic and NIL being perhaps more focused, yet as experimental.
State your preferance....

I would almost need to play them back to back ,and that might not be a bad idea because as far as i'm concerned these two albums are beyond reproach.I can't believe how much amazing music has come out of France. The Maurin brothers are incredibly talented.

Indeed (for all your comments).
Wonderful albums.
Just read the reviews for Reification (Syrinx) and Nil Novo Sub Sole.
(by the way, if I remember correctly, Samuel told me that Syrinx is recording a new album).

You? hmmm... You're a tough cookie.... I would say yes, you'll enjoy it, but I'm not sure if you'll like it as much as I do, but you never know. I'll send you some samples.

Hey! I just happened to wrote a review of Syrinx! It's nice to see that somebody else likes these bands too!
Anyhow, I wouldn't raise one over another, they both are brilliant. |

On PA only Nil is "listenable", both bands must be really interesting though.
