Topic: Extensive Pallas Song Poll Posted: October 21 2007 at 16:20 |
This is seriously the hardest poll ever. I can't even think about voting. By the way, no songs from The Wedge are represented because it's the only one I don't have yet.

Insomniac is superb...it sends shivers down my spine....

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

I would just say that I'm surprised that neither The Executioner or Ratracing from The Wedge are on your poll.....

Read much Fandango?
For me it was a choice between Atlantis, Ghostdancers or Invincible. The Sentinel and Dreams of Men are my two favorite Pallas albums. I finally decided on Atlantis. By the way, Stonie, I find The Wedge to be the weakest of the Pallas albums, so I'm not sure you're missing too much.

I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

My vote also goes to The Last Angel, although it's a hard choice, but the operatic vocals get me every time.

Just starting to really like Pallas so I am no expert but from my novice opinion I think "For the Greater Glory" has got loads punch and zap it hits the chorus and I`m impressed , wow this is a very good yet sadly "undermentioned" band there's so many elements I look for in good neo prog and Pallas cover all of them great lead vocals ( I really like the singers voice), great musicality big ideas they pull off without a problem, they should be talked about much more than they are. thanks for starting this poll , lets have more polls for bands that deserve a mention like Pallas

^^^ I agree about "Crown of Thorns", but it never was in any studio album as far as I know, only on live album(s) and DVD(s), so I can understand why it's not in the poll. A great version of that song is on the DVD "NEO - Broadcast"
