I'll go with Grayceon (you can read my review to see why).
The Pax Cecilia are not far behind, but as a whole album, I find Blessed Are The Bonds to have a lesser effect on me than Grayceon.

Both highly recommended though.

^ I guess I'm with you here (though 3 times listened is not enough to judge )...it will hardly change. But the PAXes are pretty close.

Havnt heard either yet, but I have heard a lot about them and unsurprisingly I do want to get a hold on both of them.
Spending more than I should on Prog since 2005

That is a close one, I'm not sure.

I just got Blessed are the Bonds a few days ago, so I'm still digesting it.
[QUOTE=darkshade] [QUOTE=Sckxyss]
I'm disappointed - neither of these players are avant-garde!

Al di Meola.

haha i know. but the poll itself is avant-garde

I'm not entirely sure, it was at least 3 weeks, though.

I had completely forgotten about it when it arrived, if that's any indication of how long it took. xD

It took less than 2 weeks for me to receive it but even a month (or more) would have been worth it!

There is variety in this album - for instance take the first two songs and then the switch in style with the third song...

By the way, PA has a streaming of the second song from the album (The Tomb). Listen to it, it shows how diverse the band can be.

Mine took 2 weeks.

And I have to pick The Pax Cecilia.I love Grayceon but think Blessed are the Bonds is more of a complete work than the album Grayceon has released so far.

This is a tough choice for me.

I loved both bands ever since the first time I heard them, but Grayceon had more of an impact on me. Grayceon gets my vote with The Pax Cecilia very close second.

I will also vote later, It is difficult to estimate these two great but complex works after only a few listenings. But at the moment I preffer Grayceon.
Have no fear of perfection - you'll never reach it.

GREAT POLL!

Post metal bands without the post or the metal in them, their great. This is a hard one, bith of these albums are on my top five of the year, but I dont really know which is best, I'll listen a couple more times.
