I dont think ive ever read anything about this band in any forum on here, and i think they deserve far more popularity than they currently have.

I only have little man, what we have sown and 10 stories down, and am waiting for a few more CDs in the post

their music is truly beautiful and yet complex, and posessing of some of the best and most meaningful lyrics ive ever heard.

the new albums title track [what we have sown] is 30 minutes long, and, in my opinion, one of the best modern prog epics.

does anybody else like them?

[as a side note, not that it matters particularly, the site has them listed as 'pineapple theif' when their name is actually 'the pineapple thief']

Well, the real question is why would someone want to steal a pineapple?Tongue

I've only bought Variations on a Dream due reading a good review and the streaming track posted here.  I'll be adding more titles as I finish digesting my current crop of new musical titles added recently to my collection.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

I have not heard a lot of their music but what I have heard has a great indie/garage quality. I like them a lot.

I've got 4 albums of TPT: 137, Variations On A Dream, 10 Stories Down (2 cd edition) and Little Man.
I think that this music is for people who like Radiohead, Blackfield and Archive.
And the new album What We Have Sown sounds very good. Smile

Today, I received What We Have Sown.
It is very good, especially the longest title What Have We Sown? .
I think this is their last release on Cyclops Records. The next album will be published on a bigger label in spring 08.

I ordered Little Man and What We Have Sown and have had them in my hot little hands for the last 10 days.

Dagnabit, looks like another artist I'm going to have to raid the catalog of.  Fortunately, I've gotten a good start. Big%20smile

What We Have Sown: number 1 of the top albums 2007! Clap

And the next album will be available in spring 2008 on a bigger label.
This band is awsome. Recommended to people who like Radiohead/Archive/Blackfield.
