Subterranean Masquerade vs Taal

They're quite similar in my oppinion. Taal maybe leaning more towards stuff like Alamaailman Vasarat, KC and Änglagard. All bands that I absolutely love.  And Masquerade...could be maybe compared to...ah, all the same. Which one do you prefer?

Both of course really excellent bands, but SM seems to fit me more. Find the music of SM umm...amazingly beautiful and moving. A bit naive even. Yet disturbingly powerful. Less material released though, but this doesn't matter I guess. 
So, Subterranean Masquerade for me it is.
