Topic: Subterranean Masquerade vs Taal Posted: November 01 2007 at 07:53 |

I find that these two are superb bands and have many things in common. I'd like to know which would the majority of PA find more interesting, so...which do you prefer?
For me, it would be SM as their music I find more moving. Taal is awesome, but I simply find SM more to my liking.

I really would have a hard time choosing, if it weren't for songs like No Place Like Home and Rock N Roll Preacher. I really do enjoy Taal, but SubMasq really does just a bit more for me.
I'm really hoping for a new release soon.

I'm disappointed - neither of these players are avant-garde!
Al di Meola.

I haven't heard anything by SM yet, but if they have many things in common and are currently ahead of Taal, I gotta check these guys out!

Interesting choice... Love both bands, though for both the future seems unclear (moreso for SM which have been silent for a long time while Taal have said they are recording their 3rd album now).
Can't decide, both highly recommended bands.

Do you know when Taal's new release is due, Avestin?
I've been awaiting the new SubMasq for some time, but nothing has surfaced, and their website is outdated.
