I've been listening to their album constantly and am consistently blown away! They are a marvel of progressive/avant-garde metal. The vocals are amazing, utilizing different styles, and they don't come off cold and emotionless like some prog metal bands.

Anyone else enjoy them?

Yes, like them a lot (opened a thread about their album and reviewed their EP).
Great varied piece of music, good performance - music that makes my brain cells relish with joy...

I can't seem to find their EP anywhere, unfortunately.

I use their Mailorder called The Omega Mailorder quite often, as they have free shipping in the USA and good prices overall for metal (prog or not).

Thanks avestin, though it seems quite expensive for 17 minutes of music.

Bump.

I love this band. Assaf recommended it to me since I'm a fan of Avant-garde metal like Maudlin Of The Well so any fans of MOTW should check out Subterranean Masquerade.

Hey, what a coincidence, I am just listening to Suspended Animation Dreams! LOL What a f***ing mindblowing album! Star It crushes me bellow it's workings of the masterpiece it is. Funny that I'm a Classic Prog lover but the two modern (from the 00s) albums I rate with ***** are metal in a way or another: this one and "Of Natural History".
I haven't listened to much recent prog though, still a lot to improve about that. Smile

Just wanted to mention that SM has done a nice cover of Peter Murphy's Cuts You Up.

One of my all time favorite bands, right there.

I'm still awaiting a new album, but I haven't heard anything from their site or The End Records, so I'm kinda at a loss right now.  However, if you do happen to find Suspended Animation Dreams, I HIGHLy recomend you pick it up.  I was lucky enough to find it, and I'm glad I did.

I'm disappointed - neither of these players are avant-garde!

Al di Meola.

Thinking of the sample Assaf linked to, it's possible that they might go metal all the way on their next release...
