Which one of this two epics from Rush's "A Farewell To Kings" album is better in your opinion? I vote on the latter one. Cygnus rocks!

"Xanadu" rules! It's probably my favourite Rush track of all, and I have loved it since the time I first heard it, some 25 years ago. It also helps that I love the lyrics - a very ironic twist on S.T. Coleridge's "Kubla Khan".

Xanadu all the way! Great track. I especially love the 5 minute instrumental opening. Peart's percussion work on that song is some of his best work ever. I also love the synth work and the lyrics.

I voted Xanadu. What a great song! I also like Cygnus x-1 but I think Xanadu is stronger. Now if you'd said Cygnus x-1, book 2 I may have had to think about it more. Its funny because I was just listening to AFTK last night and I hadn't listened to it in a long time.
Shoot! Now I've got "on my ship the Racinate" stuck in my head as an ear worm. How often do you think that happens?

Cynus X-1 is an awesome track. But Xanadu is my all-time favourite track
So I vote for XA-NA-DEW

I've always been a headbanger at heart, so Cygnus takes my vote... if only by a hair!

I just happened to be listening to Xanadu on the Replay concert CD. A close call since I love both songs, but I think that Xanadu is probably my favorite between the two.

Cygnus X-1 because it appeals to my heavier side, but it's still hard to pick because Xanadu is an excellent track.

They're both great songs, but Xanadu wins out because it's more melodic.

Their best and their second-best work... Hence, Xanadu.
(I used to consider The Weapon their second best, but Cygnus X-1 has come over... perhaps it will take the final cake one day)
