From Costa Rica, AMARILLO CIAN Y MAGENTA, an amazing band of avant-garde jazz-fusion that incorporates elements of space-rock (the eerie side) and psychedelic prog, not unlike FONDERIA from Italy. I'm about to receive a copy of their "Nómadas" album as a present, and let me tell you, what I've heard here is amazing and worthy of PA.

Just checksome of their amazing material at http://www.myspace.com/amarillocianmagenta

   They're great, aren't they?

So, how’s it going for AMARILLO CIAN Y MAGENTA, this fabulous experimental jazz-fusion band from Costa Rica? They kind of represent the missing link between 70s Weather Report and Fonderia, but of course, with an abundant dose of Latin flavors from their own continent.

Here they are in Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Vw0lOiAzfw and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHkW1mCSYEM

Sounds like something to be checked and approved for inclusion. But for what genre?

I guess jazz-rock/fusion is the accurate label.

...I am just listening to  Costa Rica Band  'Amarillo Clan Y Magenta' , great band, they have an experimental side going into NuJazz mixed with latin american elements, great music to chill out. I approve the inclusion to JR/Fusion.

PS Can anyone translate their Bio into English and PM it to me,
thanx in advance
