kubrick got it right the first time.
lucas drew heavily from  2001: Space Odyssey.  darth vader's "heavy breathing" for example.

it always bugs me to watch Star Wars...engine sounds and explosion sounds in outer space  Thumbs%20Down Angry

kubrick never got the credit he deserved 'cause he wouldn't play all the silly hollywood politics games...that's why he moved to the UK..
