Oh, and if we're going to put The Shins in prog-folk, we can't forget Mojave 3! And if Mojave 3 is here, we need Slowdive for prog-related since that was the first version of that band.

Oh, and A Northern Chorus and Bright Eyes for symphonic prog!!

Sorry to sound confrontational, but I firmly believe our own opinions can be expressed without sounding so aggressive, even insulting, as you did in the above post.

Along with Deerhoof, someone could add Gorge Trio as well... I'm pretty sure they have members of Deerhoof.

I read about them  once in Rolling Stone.  They sounded interesting, but I never followed up on them.  Probably because I don't really trust Rolling STone to know what good music is, but I may check them out in the future.
