Ooooh, the QEH!

Lee, James to Lee... Lee?

Lee!

Are you coming with me, Lee?

Answer me, Lee!

Prog-jester, they're fantastic as a trio, so you have to go by default. Wink

You are absolutely right! Even Peter Hammill alone as a solo with piano/guitar is absolute fantastic :-).

Oh, Evans, how can you say that?SmileAnd what about my country, Slovakia? (except slovak very good Prog-Rock band Collegium Musicum with Marin Varga absolutely nothing!!+ maybe Deep Purple last year in Bratislava) Sweden with Norway are my most loved countries of the whole world, I love them. I have a dream, one day I wake up and I find out that Im in Sweden Smile, really, that isnt joke. I wanted to travel there at least 1000 times, but it ever failed on details Cry. Even I wanted to study there in UppsalaTongue.

I think that your coutry is very interesting for very good musicians. For example I loved Hendrixs gig from Sweden (I cant remember the year exactly), or Van der Graaf Generator, Pink Floyd loved Sweden and were there for many times. Even, my idol, Bob Dylan loved/loves your country, he said in 1966 in conversation in the radio(in Stockholm) that: "swedish audience is very smart" and that he loves sweden and even also: "I happen to be a Swede myself"Wink (from book: DYLAN, visions, portraits, and back pages; MOJO). I think that all these musicians even dont know where is Slovakia in these times.

So if you are interested in Van der Graaf Generator music, so you can buy an airticket or a ticket to one of the places where they will play, because Van der Graaf Generator is still as a trio one of the best prog-rock group in the world. You can trust me.

P.s.: Sorry for little/more of topic, but I had reacted (Sweden) Smile
P.s.s.: Another big of topic, I will try to go to Sweden in the middle of February. I hope that I will be successful. Im dying to see Stockholm in Winter.

Looks like I'm off to wolverhampton with my prog/classical pianist buddy Dan

Our journey there will even fit to the lyrics to Pilgrims

We are pilgrims and so, must walk this road.
Unknown in our purpose, alone, but not worthless at home...

Well kinda, you get what I mean though right? Man I gotta stop with the marajuana... I talk too much

i'm all giggly... hehe...

I have a 'recording' ahem!, of VdGG at The Bottom Line in New York from October 1976.It's rather humerous as Banton is having power supply problems for his Hammond so Hammill has to take the flak from the crownd.Someone shouts out
'Fripp,Where's Fripp?'
Hammill replies, 'Fripp isn't here, even he dosen't know where he is...' alluding to Robert Fripp's self imposed exile at the Bennett/Gurdjief centre in Wiltshire.

Hammill is interviewed in today's Manchester Evening News on the eve of VdGG's return to Manchester (where the group started in '67):

Trisector, just release in Italy, has entered the charts (at a whopping #83... hopefully it will go up):

It's actually from the much bigger Beacon Theater (almost 3,000 capacity). Surprisingly, VdGG sold it out which makes it all the more sad that it turned out to be their one and only U.S. gig (even though they did have tickets printed up for the band to appear at the Santa Monica Civic Center near L.A. - the band probably would have sold that out too, but it was just going to be too impossible to transport the band and their massive crew across the country without any other gigs along the way to get them there).
