Has anyone heard it yet?

I think the best track on this CD is definitely "ants of the sky" it shifts from speed metal to sea shanty neo-classical metal to soft jazz to good ol' fingerpickin' banjo.

Mike Portnoy recently named it his Favorite album of 2007.

Check it out.

Incredible album.

Easily one of my favorite Metal albums of 2007.

I'm disappointed - neither of these players are avant-garde!

Al di Meola.

Very good album. I sense that they can easily pick a different route if I were to rely on the opening of the album and the interspersed parts where they go a bit more mellow.
In any case, a splendid album! Too bad I heard it so late in 2007 I couldn't update my voting list of PA top 2007 albums.

Well, how many metalcore bands do you know with a Bungle influence?

I'll have to check this one out.  Their last "official" album, Alaska, was fantastic.
BRUTAL.

It's okay, definitely better than anything else they've put out. Doesn't do much for me for some reason, probably the metalcore parts.

Its a very nice album, I'm just not too keen on the vocals.
Spending more than I should on Prog since 2005
