Interference Sardines - Spot de Rue
SKU IS 4
The third album by this little known but truely excellent Quebeçois outfit, currently a quartet of Andrée Bilodeau-violin/electric violin, viola, vocals, Sébastien Doré-electric and contrabass, vocals, Frédéric Lebrasseur-drums, percussion, organ and vocals, Philippe Venne-electric guitar, keyboards, programming and vocals, with guests on sax, vocals and trumpet. Despite three really good albums over a period of over a decade's worth of work, this band is really little-known and under-appreciated. I find their work to be a bit reminiscent of the late, great Krakatoa - definitely an 'avant-progressive' sound, but leavened with humor and modern/popular music influences. If you know them, you know you need this. If you don't know them, I would recommend that you give them a chance!

Yeah it's been out for a while, it has kinda let me down because there are way too much vocals on this one. It's still a good album though and yes they are really REALLY little-known, even here in Québec :D

With Trisector,23008 is looking good.

rather than un-sheath our sword
