Hello there guys!

I know a brazilian band that doesnt exist in your database... How can I add it? Itīs called Cheiro de Vida, and I have MP3īs and videos for them, as well as their biography

You can suggest a genre for the band, and send the material to that genre's Team of Collaborators.

I see you are new, so I guess you don't know that only Collaborators can add bands. Smile

Pure luck found one of their CDs 1988(?) cheap and second hand in an English specialist recordstore. An excellent jazz rock fusion album. So would be most supportive to include the band  if this album is typical of their music.

Thanks for the PM, Atkingani!! Iīve searched a lot for my post on the wrong forum, well but letīs go:
The site that you sent is really the site that has more information about the band... They have only 2 albums, one studio album, released in 1984, self-titled (Cheiro de Vida), and a live one, from 1988, called "Ao Vivo" (live).
They are really a jazz rock / fusion band, but what (at least to me) is more impressing in the band is the bass work. Andre Gomes is a great bassist, as anyone can see in the Live album... he is very talented, great songwriting, uses lots of slaps (sometimes remember Vic. Wooten), but he plays also fretless (on studio album) and he also plays sitar.
Unfortunately, it is a very underrated band here in Brazil, as well as in other parts of the world... The band really needed more attention, because they did a really good work.
They are now disbanded, but the members are still on music scene, but the bandīs gone.
Another thing noticeable is the quality of both recordings... Specially the live one! When listening to it, you simply forget that the album is from 1988 and itīs a live album! Great sound quality, all the instruments sound pretty clear.
I have both albums, and could send the MP3 sample to the site, or for you guys to listen to this amazing band...
