From their mailing list:

Dear friends, family and supporters,

First of all, Happy New Year!!! We went out last year with a bang, with the release of our split 7" with Giant Squid (The End Records) and making it second place in the polls for Sonic Frontier's Best Underground Album of 2007. Our self-titled debut also made it on to several critics' lists of top ten albums for 2007, including writers for Decibel Magazine, Prefix Mag, and Outburn. Thank you to all who took the time to vote for us on Sonic Frontier's website and for all your support this past year.

Looking toward the future... we hope to fill 2008 with new adventures and opportunities! The calendar is already starting to fill up. Aside from some West Coast shows sprinkled throughout the first months of the new year, we are recording our new album in mid-February which will be released in August 2008 (Vendlus), and are planning on touring in September/October 2008. Max is starting school in the spring, Zack is wrapping up a sponsorship deal with a boutique drum kit maker (which we hope to announce officially sometime soon) and Jackie is training for her swim to Alcatraz.

Please join us at one of our upcoming shows and give us some feedback on our new material. We would love to see you!

Wishing your new year is full of good friends, good health, and good fortune!

xo, ~ Grayceon

Wow. Great news.

$8 to see a show? I can never recall a cheaper ticket then that. I spent $10 to watch my friend's crappy emo band play for an hour.

I paid $8 to see Baroness at a club here in Baltimore.

They were so good that I felt like I was ripping them off.

Summer is officially here and Grayceon has a lot of summer activities up our sleeves! First off, we would like to invite you to check out our new web site at:

www.grayceon.com

It's nothing too major, but we had someone overhaul the site and it looks a lot better than the one we put together ourselves! Please email us with any bugs, as it was just launched a couple of days ago...

Zack got his first kit from PoBoy drums! Many of you already know that Zack has recently received an endorsement by this awesome boutique drum company based out of Colorado. This will be a temporary kit he will use until his custom kit is built. We played our first show with him on the PoBoy kit the other night and it totally ruled. We were hearing things on that kick drum we had never heard before! Congratulate him when you get the chance. You will be seeing a lot more of PoBoy stuff on our web site and myspace page in the weeks to follow.

WE HAVE A RELEASE DATE!!! Our new album, titled "This Grand Show" will be released on-line and in the Vendlus Records web store on August 1, 2008 and the in-store release will be August 26, 2008. Mark your calendars!

Hope to see you at one of our upcoming performances (details below). Wishing you long days and pleasant nights... xo, Grayceon

The album has been scheduled for release in November (11th).

In the meantime, I'll be conducting an interview with the band.

If anyone has any questions they are interested in asking Grayceon, please let me know by PM

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Not really ahead of me, I was just lazy about posting the new date.
Jackie told me about it last month.

And I've already heard and reviewed the album.... Tongue Wink Big%20smile Wonderful release!
