I'd say either Fallen Angel, One More Red Nightmare or Great Deceiver.

Where do you start? Did Wetton record any vocals prior to Mogul Thrash e.g. anything with Family? Whilst the lyrics could become gibberish, there are some good performances on the two UK studio albums. And unfortunately there are some 'wobbly' performances on his 90's solo recordings. Anybody heard: Monkey Business : John Wetton & Richard Palmer James which I guess is an album of demos - it has its moments?

I'll agree with Dick Heath that Wetton's best performances are probably found on the two UK discs. Fallen Angel was probably the best of the Crimson stuff.

I'd say Battle Lines (John Wetton solo). That suits his voice better.

Fallen Angel
I also liked his more polished voice which is evident on the Asia songs "Wildest Dreams" and "Heat of the Moment." Sure, the music was AOR, but his voice sounds pretty good on those later productions.

I think The Night Watch and maybe Lament. Basically any of the tracks on Starless and Bible Black.

Wow, hard to narrow it down with such a great vocalist.
1. Battlelines-The whole album showcases what he can do
2. Asis- Again, the vocals are just perfect for him.
3. Later Crimson stuff.

Oh crap. Anything off Red...some stuff off Larks. I suck at this, don't I?
Wetton might be my favorite Crimso singster. And that's saying a bit. 'Cause I loves my Lake and my Belew.

While its not prog, but still Asia-like, JW's and Geoff Downes' second album, ICON II Rubicon, has some of John's best vocals.

Probably "Starless", but I need to hear more songs where Wetton sings. Still is a MONSTER bass player though.

Don't like Asia, and nothing on the UK albums has really ever inspired me to take too much notice,so it would have to be between "Fallen Angel," or "One More Red Nightmare."
